All of us who thoroughly enjoy the endeavors of digital Life have only seen the very surface of the shape of things to come. For obvious reasons, influential developers of future technologies are keeping us short of the fascinating changes that we will witness in the coming years.

 

Short Description of 2023 Short Film

 

Animals can sing in the future, maybe in 5 years, maybe they already can and we just don't understand them. They can also teach us about the present and about how media affects our perception of time and our place as "creators" in the universe. 2023 is an abstract concept documentary, in which a snail overcomes the adversities of its day-to-day “covering” the iconic voice of Edith Piaf. It exposes this bizarre scene to make the audience self-reflect about nature, technology, tradition, media, the future and what human being are making with all these. 

 

 

Tiere werden in der Zukunft singen können, vielleicht in 5 Jahren, vielleicht können sie bereits singen, aber wir verstehen sie nicht. Sie können uns über die Gegenwart lehren und darüber wie die Medien unsere Wahrnehmung von Zeit und unsere Rolle als “Schöpfer” im Universum beeinflussen. 2023 ist ein abstrakter Dokumentarfilm über ein Konzept, in welchem eine Schnecke ihre alltäglichen Probleme überstehen muss, während sie die ikonische Stimme von Edith Piaf “covert”. Er zeigt diese eigenartige Szene, durch welche das Publikum zur Selbstreflexion über die Natur, Technologie, Tradition, Medien, die Zukunft und was wir Menschen damit machen, angeregt wird.
