Opa_Oma project is, in fact, a long-term educational and social project designed to create and enhance communication between the young and old generation in Germany as part of the Global Environment friendly Cities project. In fact, Opa_Oma is not just a program and application, but also a development in the Germany’s educational system.
Now, in our new educational structure, we plan to change the educational structure by developing a new vision of the Family Topics so that the deep roots of the discrete family in Europe can be culturally and influentially more tightened through the usage of this project. Undoubtedly, with today's global statistics, care and building up with the former generation will be one of the challenges of the present and future century. With the help of this plan, in addition to filling the gap between the generations, it would be possible to help and take care of the proper communication with the last generation.
A simple example for introducing Opa-Oma is that you can register as a bachelor's, master's, and doctoral student in your university's campus portal or use the Opa-Oma app in this lesson under the Family Topics section. Then, choose what kind of software or hardware or gadget you want to teach and guide your grandparents or any of the elderly members with 60-years-old age or other relatives you may know. The details and the relationship between the faculty and students through the course in addition to the way the elder generation should participate in the program have been analyzed.
